Page 175 Questions 1-4

1.       One of Heather's main points is the evolution is actually creating a sad environment around us where electronics rule our attention. The American dream is no longer safe living and a nice cozy house to come home too. It has evolved to much more than that. Children often are sat in front of TV’s and in her opinion they “should be exposed to the wonders of the globe from an early age.”
2.       Her authoritative figure comes out of her shell when delivering the “reality check” through her writing. The way she has written her argument clearly shows she has some experience with this or has seen it up front.
3.       She appeals to the audience right off the bat, by stating her opinion and reasons, they are relatable and easy to see around us every day. Her strong tasteful opinion on how rapidly the average childhood has changed is a great way to open a readers eyes to the problem. And it could even draw them to be concerned for their own future.

4.       I have never heard of Mad Men, it is out of my scope as teenager, maybe when I am older it will cycle back and I will be able to watch it, other than that I do not really appeal to TV anymore.
